We’re a group of UK renal registrars here to help Junior Doctors from the UK and abroad better understand how to manage renal patients. Nephrology can be a daunting specialty but renal patients frequent the emergency department, surgery and medical admissions units. Mastering AKI is also an essential weapon to have in every Junior Doctor’s tool kit!

There are many aspects to nephrology that can be perceived as challenging to manage….AKI, dialysis patients, fluid balance, drugs in CKD and much more! We believe that with some good teaching resources any junior doctor will be able to confidently manage the important basics of any renal problem and know when to seek help from renal colleagues.
